I placed my mom in memory care at the Lorelton April of last year. This was the most difficult decision I had ever made. I toured many facilities before choosing the Lorelton. Mom recently passed, so she was their about a year and a half. I can not say enough about this facility. Mom became family here. All the staff treated her with love and respect. She became “Mom” to all. All her care givers went well above this just being a job for them. Any concerns I had were addressed immediately by department heads and management. If you are searching for a place for a loved one, give this place a look. I was very happy with placing mom at the Lorelton.
The Lorelton has been taking care of my mom for over 6 + years and she absolutely loves it, we absolutely love it. Every single person that works there is genuinely caring and amazing at taking care of the residents. The leadership there truly is in touch with making sure that it's a home. We are very fortunate and grateful to the Lorelton.
Living at the Lorelton is as close to "living at home" as you will find. The food is good, you have a large selection of room types to choose from. Some apartments have washer/dryers and some have full kitchens. The employees are caring. Just what you want.
We have an Uncle living in the memory care unit at the Lorelton. We are very happy with the care he is given. He is given love and attention by the staff and is treated like a family member. I highly recommend!
Disclaimer: I am not, nor was a resident of the Lorelton. I am the granddaughter of a long-time resident. I've also posted this review on Yelp. I'm surprised to see negative reviews here and urge anyone reading this to see the place, meet the team, and talk to residents. I think you will conclude that this is a special place that really stands out compared to the for-profit options in the area. I'm sure it isn't perfect, but it's absolutely the type of place, if home isn't an option, where I'd like to live. This place cares and is genuinely home to the residents. You can see it in the artwork on the walls, the front doors of each resident's apartment, and the community that you see in the dining room and activity center.
