Highgate Senior Living

Highgate is the only place in Yakima where I would want a loved one to live. So lovely and clean. And from just the introductory call with their placement team I can tell the staff really cares!

Highgate in Yakima is a beautiful place. We have been so happy with the care and service our family member has received at this facility. It is the cleanest and best smelling care facility I have ever visited. The maintenance and housekeeping staff are exceptional. Zach and Todd do a great job keeping the facility looking great! Teresa takes care of the apartment our family member lives in, and she does an absolutely excellent job. Teresa also helps our family member place her many art projects to beautify and personalize her living space! Our family member feels so at home because Zach and Todd keep the place looking great, and Teresa is so cheerful, helpful, and friendly. We appreciate you guys!

When we visit our mother at Highgate, she is often listening to musicians, playing a game, or catching up on current events with Amanda, Sarah, or Adrienne, activities’ directors. They make sure there’s a good variety of things going on throughout the week. Care partners such as Lisa respond quickly to call buttons and consistently maintain upbeat, kind attitudes. The facility provides excellent medical care and varied, healthy meals. We’re grateful our mother is happy and well-cared for at Highgate.

My mom has been at Highgate for almost 5 years. I want to give a shout out to Gage who makes her day fun with activities! I have visited many times during their fun games and Gage always makes us laugh. He has such a warm, kind and patient way of entertaining his residents. Susan has been great with mom as her dedicated care partner too. The staff has a genuine concern and love for everyone. Liz and Tonia greet me whether in person or on the phone with a friendly smile EVERYDAY! Thanks for taking such great care of my mom! It's a real comfort to know she is A OK and well looked after!

Thank You to Chris and Mandy at Highgate for providing my family with a safe and welcoming location for our future needs. Even though we currently don't have a family member staying at this location, the resources, support, and training they have offered our family are amazing. The Alzheimer's and Dementia training they provide for their staff makes me feel more comfortable in my family's choice of care.
