Arista Home Health
Arista Home Health is a Medicare-certified home health agency serving Tucson, Arizona and surrounding areas. A Medicare-certified home health agency provides skilled nursing services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, medical social services, and home health aide services to patients in their homes.
Medicare covers home health services for patients who are homebound and require skilled nursing care or therapy services on an intermittent basis. A physician must certify that the patient needs home health care and establish a plan of care.
Home health agencies are certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and must meet federal Conditions of Participation. These requirements ensure that agencies provide quality care, maintain proper documentation, and protect patient rights.
Medicare beneficiaries pay no cost for covered home health services when provided by a Medicare-certified agency. For more information about home health benefits, visit Medicare.gov. Compare home health agency ratings at Medicare Care Compare.
Quality ratings and agency data are updated periodically by CMS. We recommend verifying current information at Medicare Care Compare.

My wife Susan was cared for by Tracy, Krystal and Nicole. They provided the best care I could ever have hoped for my wife. They all showed tremendous compassion for Susan and were extremely reliable and professional. Thank you Arista for supporting me and taking such good care of Susan. Susan was also supported by a Hospice volunteer, Vicki. If anyone deserves to receive “volunteer of the year”, it should be Vicki. Vicki would always plan some developmentally appropriate activity commensurate with Susan’s cognitive and physical abilities as they regressed. Whenever possible the activities were hands on and interactive. There must have been some sort of divine intervention for Arista to select such an extraordinary team that wrapped around Susan with all the skills and empathy necessary to meet Susan and my needs.
I had knee surgery, and my doctor's office setup my in-home physical therapy. Albert was very professional and always on time. He helped me overcome all my fears and pain. I am extremely grateful for the care Albert and Arista Home physical therapy gave me in a very difficult and painful time in my life.
I had knee surgery, and my insurance referred me to Arista for in-home physical therapy. I called to make an appointment, and was told that they did have my referral for pt, 3 times a week, they're only physical therapist was Albert, and he makes his own appointments. I waited a couple days and Albert called, telling me he would be over sometime Monday afternoon. I asked him if he knew what time he said he would call me and let me know. Monday came, and I heard from Albert at 12:30, telling me he will be here in a half hour. He came about 1ish, talk to me for about 15 minutes, and left, telling me he would be by Friday about the same time. He did not take measurements of the surgical site, he did not take measurements as to how much I could bend or straighten my knee, he only told me one exercise, and it was one that landed me on the floor and injured my knee. Friday came, and after about 2:00, I called Albert. He said he didn't have any openings that day, but he would be by about the same time Monday. I told him I do have an appointment Monday at 3:40, he promised he would be here well before that. Sunday morning early, Albert called and said that he was going to be over in just a few minutes. He woke me up, I had had an extremely painful night so I took morphine and I could not get awake, so I told him I couldn't do it. He told me then he would see me sometime next week, and hung up. I called him back saying give me a half hour that I would be ready. I tried getting up to get ready and almost fell over on my dog because I was so woozy. I had to call him back and tell him I couldn't do it, but that I was supposed to have three times a week, I had only seen him last Monday for 15 minutes, he said he was coming Friday and didn't, and if I understood him right he's not coming at all all week? He said okay I'll come by Monday at 3:30, then hung up. I called and left a message on his phone telling him not to worry about coming, I was going to call his manager and let her know why I will not be using their service. I figured that management would not be in the office on weekends so I waited till Monday and called. A young sounding girl answered the phone, I asked her for manager, she informed me she was the manager. I told her all that had happened with Albert. I told her I've been a caregiver for many years, I have never heard of a place that does in-home physical therapy that does not do appointments. Sometimes they're a little earlier a little late because of how the person previous appointment went, but they have appointments which Albert doesn't even do that. She told me that Albert has been there for many years and they've never had a problem with him and that I must be the problem.
I can't express enough my thanks and praise for your Home Health and Hospice staff. I'm a retired Nurse and fairly picky about the help for my Dad, but this team is exceptional!! Thanks to everyone from Jorge to Robert, Carmen, Amanda and especially Megan. LOVE and be well. Trish Z
My husband had Arista Home Hospice for the last 2 months of his life. Every person we had contact with was kind and compassionate. I could not have wanted better care for him.
