I've been with Extended Family for 16mnths, when I say the time flew by please believe me! Working for EF has been one of the best experiences as a caregiver... the families we serve, the recognition we receive, the open door policy (true), the office parties and get togethers we have are so much fun (family vibes). I definitely feel valued, seen and heard. I look forward to my shifts with our clients aka work (who does that)? We do! When you love what you do and have an awesome managerial staff it doesn't feel like work... it feels like home!
I love working with Extended family home care. I have been a caregiver/CNA for over 36 years and this is Absolutely one of my top choices. The care and compassion our team gives is absolutely amazing 💕 I love that our management team were also caregivers so they have knowledge and compassion all great caregivers possess !!
I have been with Extended family home care for a little over a year and I absolutely love working for Extended family. The staff and co workers are all amazing as well as the clients. I would recommend if you are looking for something in home health this would be a great opportunity for you.
I would give less than one star if possible. Horrendous experience with Extended Families Home Care and especially Sarah Shorter. She would not return calls. She would say she left a message but I received none and had no record of a missed call, would say she called another family member instead of returning my call but that family member had no record of the call or a voicemail. She didn’t show up for the initial meeting at my affected family members home. There is more but I will leave it at that. Unbelievably bad experience. I cannot recommend them.
My father came out for a visit and requires some extra help now... everyone at Extended Family Home Care has made the whole experience as seamless and stress-free as it can be. Every caretaker has been outstanding, but my father connected with one aide, specifically, and since consistency is best in this situation, the staff worked with us to ensure she was scheduled to the greatest extent possible. Shoutout to Irma!! Genuine in her love and passion for what she does, she's fair, but firm, and I have nothing but the utmost respect for her. Having to be away from the home for most of the day, I have NOT ONE WORRY about my Dad's care and safety. I highly, highly recommend this agency.
