Nurturecare

Nurture Care has provided us with excellent staffing and support. We were so lucky that they placed Henrietta with us as a caregiver for my wife who had multiple surgeries. We had Henrietta for over six months - four hours a day during week days. She helped my wife with bandage changing, bathing, and dressing as well as light house keeping and preparing meals for her daily. Henrietta is a kind, compassionate, and cheerful person. She has a wide variety of skills to meet the needs of patients, and has been instrumental in my wife’s recovery. Nurture Care has recruited excellent caregivers and we will definitely use them in the future.

For several years, NurtureCare provided aides for relatives who lived in my home. The aides were competent, compassionate and took excellent care of my relatives. Additionally, working through an agency to obtain the help we needed took a great deal of responsibility off my shoulders, because NurtureCare did all the vetting, so I didn’t have to worry about whether the aides coming to my house were up to the job.

This review date 9 Sept 2025: Our family feels extremely blessed and grateful to have Murielle Michaud, caregiver through NurtureCare agency in Fairfax, VA, taking care of our 93 yr old father, Simon, for the past 7 years!! Murielle is wonderfully kind and loving towards my father, which is not always easy to do. When we first hired NurtureCare to provide hourly in-home care, there were several caregivers that would work different shifts. Very quickly Murielle became my father's favorite caregiver, and she has provided his in-home 24/7 care for 6+ years. Murielle is very, very thorough and gentle when cleaning him, feeding him, treating his wounds, and administering his medications. She has a great sense of humor! My father LOVES her cooking. He was born in Paris, and French was his first language. Murielle is originally from Haiti, so French is her first language, and my Dad has been Very Happy to communicate in French with her 99% of the time. Unfortunately, he recently had to transition to Hospice care, and I am even MORE impressed with Murielle - she is communicative with Hospice providers as well as us, his adult children (2 daughters and 1 son, we each live far away from our Dad) and other family members who check in on him. She regularly helps us have group video calls with our Dad, which is often challenging as his Dementia and Parkinson Diseases are, sadly, quite advanced now. Even well before his condition worsened, Murielle has taken EXCELLENT care of him. If you are in the Fairfax, VA area and in need of in-home care for your loved one - I Highly and wholeheartedly recommend Murielle and the NurtureCare agency team.

I am a geriatric care manager and want to thank NurtureCare for the excellent care provided by Fasike to my client from December 2024 to May 2025. Fasike is an excellent, knowledgable and compassionate caregiver - she coordinated the care of the patient with myself, the hospice nurses and the family. She provided excellent care to her patient.
