Encore Caregivers

I’ve worked with Encore Caregivers for years and have seen firsthand how deeply they care for families. They take time to truly understand each person—not just their needs, but who they are. Every person I’ve worked with on the team is compassionate, dependable, and brought a much needed comfort into my loved ones home. When challenges came up they stepped in right away with kindness and professionalism. Encore Caregivers genuinely makes life easier for families in Houston and we are so grateful for them!

The caregiver showed up with a pack of cokes and lays potato chips the day of the assignment. I have no problem with snacks but nothing got done that I needed for my mother. The caregiver ended up sharing with my mother which is nice of her but my mother is on a special diet plan. I found out through my ring camera that she had eaten a half a pound of chips with the caregiver.

Lazy and unprofessional caregiver. I don’t know how she could consider herself help towards a family in need. The lady sat on her iPhone MOST of the day. I can understand that the rate the caregivers are paid is extremely low compared to what we pay the company. It’s terrible! I do understand that part , but she did sign up to assist. I will find another company where the caregivers seem like they actually care. I guess you get what you pay for. Blah blah blah. Takes no responsibility for hiring workers with no skills and pays peanuts, therefore we suffer the paying client. Typical. Money hungry. Self serving. If you care so much, is there any reason why YOU yourself don’t come help my mother?

Garrett and Encore Caregivers staff have been nothing short of amazing. I lived four hours away when I received a call from the hospital saying my mother had been diagnosed with late-stage dementia and depression and could no longer live independently. I was from out of town and had no idea where to start. Encore's knowledgeable and caring staff immediately stepped in and consistently went above and beyond throughout our extremely dramatic and challenging year and a half. I am eternally grateful for their support, professionalism, empathy, and creative problem-solving. If you have a family member who requires caregiving, I highly recommend Encore Caregivers - they will not disappoint no matter how challenging your situation may be.

The caregivers and the office staff are TOP NOTCH! We engaged Encore's services for my MIL back in 2021 and when we needed help with my FIL earlier this year, we knew who to call. Thank you, Encore!
