Home Instead

My family is currently receiving services from them. We have been very impressed with the process, staff and services so far! This has been an excellent option for our situation!

We used Home Instead North Wilkesboro NC franchise for care for my mother-in-law. We made the mistake (willingly admitting that) of privately scheduling a caregiver that worked with my mother-in-law from Home Instead to fill a 4 hour shift at last minute (private caregiver got sick). As this was apparently a contract violation, the franchise owner said that he had no choice but to end the contract. While I somewhat understand that, what I could not believe was that he ended the contract effective immediately. Literally cut her off at 1:20pm with HI care scheduled for 3pm and 9pm THAT DAY. Praise God she has us to be there in emergency.I hate to think what would have happened otherwise. Very inhumane and immoral for a company that claims to help seniors “stay safe and well at home.”

We LOVE our care giver! We also greatly appreciate the administrative response to any questions or changes of schedule that arise. Home Instead works with our personal schedules, handles our requests, and always lets us choose what we want for any given situation. Thank you for excellent service!
