Premier Home Health Care Services
Premier Home Health Care Services
Premier Home Health Care Services is a homecare agency serving Burlington, North Carolina and surrounding areas. Homecare agencies provide non-medical personal care services that allow individuals to remain safely in their homes while receiving assistance with daily activities.
Services provided by homecare agencies typically include personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming), companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation to appointments, and respite care for family caregivers.
In North Carolina, homecare agencies are typically regulated by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and generally must maintain a Home Care Agency License. North Carolina requires licensure for home care agencies.
Payment Options: In North Carolina, Medicaid may help pay for homecare services through programs like Community Alternatives Program for Disabled Adults (CAP/DA), CAP/Choice. These Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waivers help eligible individuals receive care at home instead of in an institutional setting. Contact North Carolina Division of Health Benefits or visit https://medicaid.ncdhhs.gov/ to learn about eligibility and how to apply.
When selecting a homecare agency, consider factors such as caregiver screening procedures, training requirements, supervision practices, and the agency's responsiveness to client needs and concerns. Visit North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services for more information about homecare services in North Carolina.
Licensing requirements and regulations may change. We recommend verifying current requirements directly with your state's licensing agency.

My sister has recently been assigned a nurse and a caregiver from Premier. I live 2 hours away from my sister. I met them both today when I came to pick her up for an appointment. I was surprisingly impressed. I didn't give a 5 star rating because things do change, but I will be optimistic that it will stay the same.
One gold star for the CNAs who have been assigned to us. They were excellent! Premiere will never keep good employees though. The office staff in Burlington could test the patience of Sister Theresa. They appear to be unorganized; they are quite often downright rude with us; they almost NEVER have a backup aid if our regular girl is out sick or takes a vacation day - they will either call and claim that they are trying to find a replacement (seldom happens) OR they don't call at all and blame it on the aid. It is sad to me that our VA hospital contracts with these people to provide a caregiver for a 95 yo WWII veteran and the premiere office staff doesn't take this responsibility seriously.
Awful agency. Every aide they sent my quadriplegic son was too disabled and old to help. They do not supervise the staff. They don't care about patients at aamll. They only care about billable hours and Money. Run from this agency. After having aides for 11 years I can bonestly say they are the WORSAGDNCY IN ALAMANCE
As I'm writing this, my dad is currently going on Day 3 of consecutively no weekday care from Premier. He's a stroke victim, unable to move himself, and they've seemed to have abandoned him as a client. Currently working with my county DSS and my elder care attorney for options, as he has documented skin breakdown and the neglect from Premier isn't helping matters - if you have *any* choice in the matter, go with another agency.
Horrible Service. They either no show and don't notify you or they don't even schedule aids to come when requested. They never find someone to replace the aid either. The nurse said she would come quarterly, never did. When she did come out and find her aids not there she called APS! because of Premieres failure to send the aid! I would not recommend them to watch a dog.
