Wow. This place has it figured out. They provided the immediate care I needed. A representative comes to you as soon as you contact them to explain everything in person. They have an RN come and give an assessment so everyone is on the same page about medications and care expected. They have someone 24 hours a day answering the phone who can help with emergencies. Because, let's face it, most emergencies happen in the middle of the night. Many of their caregivers are nurses and can provide that extra level of care. They bill you only for the hours you use them so you don't get stuck paying extra if your care needs change quickly. Their rates are slightly lower than those of most places I contacted. But I chose them because they were so quick to respond to my needs. They really helped and understood completely the tough situation you can be in finding respectful care for a loved one.

CAREvity did a great job for my parents during a very difficult time. They are professional and compassionate company and gave me the piece of mind to continue to work out of town. Krystal was especially exceptional during this time. She took care of my father and mother (the caregiver) during my father's last month. I highly recommend Krystal and this company.

We knew from the first minutes of our interview that we had made the right choice. Cecelia and Shewanda were so caring and professional and compassionate to our situation. I was able to fly 1000 miles home knowing BOTH my parents were in loving and capable hands. Every caregiver arrived promptly and was very attentive during their shifts. Cecelia kept me updated and stayed by my father's side when we had an ER visit. She checked on all of us daily during my mother's hospital stay and she even visited! There's a huge element of trust when you open your home and loved ones to strangers. My father would actually leave the house to run errands and that was HUGE for him to trust the caregivers enough to leave! These caregivers never made me doubt our decision. They were not strangers anymore! We all became friends and greeted each other with hugs. We are so grateful for the entire CAREvity team.

I wish I knew about CAREvity sooner! I have a lot of physical limitations myself coupled at the time with a 1 year old and autistic teen requiring therapy. CAREvity allowed me to provide the care my sister needed and fill the obligation of my children by bridging this gap. I knew she was safe and cared for. I will always be grateful for their help snd genuine kindness.
