Home or Away — the choice is yours! Our choice is home. We help families care for their own, at home, by employing, training, and paying them for the care they provide. For our clients who don't have eligible family caregivers, we provide a team of certified and well-trained professionals. Founded in 2007, Home or Away began with a simple mission: to provide high-quality, compassionate care to individuals who prefer to remain in their homes rather than move to institutional settings like nursing homes. Our founder started Home or Away after caring for both her grandmother and her mother as they aged. Having experienced the challenges of caring for her own family members, and figuring out how to make ends meet, she felt compelled to help other families going through the same challenges. That's why we provide caregivers with training, support, and compensation — so you can rest assured your family member is getting the care they need and the caregiver is getting the income they need.
