At Home Senior Services is an in-home care agency dedicated to fostering independence in seniors. Founded in 2007 by Mary Jo Dietrich RN-BSN and her husband David Dietrich PhD, we are an independently operated agency with over 20 years of experience in the health care community. With Mary Jo and David’s combined knowledge of the senior care industry and keen business sense, they have been able to help over 1,600 families in the Pittsburgh area! Currently "Best of Employer and Provider of Choice" 3 years in a row also voted best in homecare with the Trib reader pole in 2022-2023.
We seek to provide peace of mind for your family with compassion, companionship, and commitment. We understand that senior care is a personal experience, and as such we believe that your caregiver support team should serve as an extension of your family. We strive to assist families through personalized care in a way unique to any other agency.
We are dedicated to employing the best caregivers in the area. With every family we assist, we go through an introduction process where we strive to understand your loved one’s specific needs. Our founder, Mary Jo, will sit down with you and your family to discuss the options available to you, and then select the best caregiver to fit within the dynamics of your family.

I have had such a compasssionate and caring experience with At Home Senior Service, specifically, David Dietrich. They fully answered any questions I had regarding my father's needs. They understood how difficult this time in my dad and our lives was, and to be met with such empathy was refreshing.
They helped care for an elderly aunt with dementia and Alzheimer's. Their efforts ensured we could keep her at home until the very end. The folks there are very dependable. The caregivers always show up, are pros, and provide meaningful care.
At Home Senior Services provided excellent and reliable care for my elderly aunt. Not only did the care provider assist with bathing, light housekeeping and meals but she was also a wonderful companion and support person who worked closely with the family to establish and achieve goals. She even took my aunt out for lunch so that she could enjoy special meals and a change of scenery.
