Homewatch Caregivers
Homewatch Caregivers
Homewatch Caregivers is a homecare agency serving Crystal Lake, Illinois and surrounding areas. Homecare agencies provide non-medical personal care services that allow individuals to remain safely in their homes while receiving assistance with daily activities.
Services provided by homecare agencies typically include personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming), companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation to appointments, and respite care for family caregivers.
In Illinois, homecare agencies are typically regulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health and generally must maintain a Home Services Agency License. Illinois requires licensure for agencies providing home services.
Payment Options: In Illinois, Medicaid may help pay for homecare services through programs like Community Care Program, Home Services Program. These Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waivers help eligible individuals receive care at home instead of in an institutional setting. Contact Illinois Department on Aging or visit https://www2.illinois.gov/aging/programs/Pages/default.aspx to learn about eligibility and how to apply.
When selecting a homecare agency, consider factors such as caregiver screening procedures, training requirements, supervision practices, and the agency's responsiveness to client needs and concerns. Visit Illinois Department of Public Health for more information about homecare services in Illinois.
Licensing requirements and regulations may change. We recommend verifying current requirements directly with your state's licensing agency.

We have had help from Home Watch for many years. When my parents were still living in their house, someone came to help with showers and laundry. For the last 4 years they have helped my dad now living in a senior community apartment. They all are very nice people. We are very grateful for the way they care for my dad. Keeping him safe and happy. They help with meals, baths, dressing, shaving, etc. We have Sam and Laurie on the night shift who keep him repositioned to prevent bed sores. Miro and Heidi have been with us for several years. They go the extra mile to keep him comfortable: foot baths, physical therapy, and just plan fun. We have 3 newer caregivers who are very interested in doing the best for my dad. Michael, William and Yolanda. We really appreciate the special attention from them all. Home watch has been tremendous at keeping us fully staffed over the years. Thank you!
I’ve been incredibly happy with the service from my caregivers. I need assistance with showering, and they’ve made the process so much smoother and safer. They transfer me from my power chair to the shower, help with bathing, and assist with dressing. What used to take an hour and a half now takes just 30 to 45 minutes—and the risk of injury has dropped dramatically. I would 100% recommend this service to anyone who’s struggling with mobility or looking for dependable, felxable, compassionate help.
I'm prior military, now retired, so I have high standards ...all your care givers are supportive, positive, hard working and friendly. My husband John really loves the care he receives from his caregiver Jan...she goes to great lengths to keep him comfortable and happy. Jan is a very detailed care giver who knows her job and does it very well!!! Please don't change her we are very flexible with hours knowing she has had some recent family issues, we want to keep her for as long as possible
Jackie is a Very nice caregiver. Good personality, gentle and kind. Works to find the best way possible to help my husband with his showering. Appreciate that Homewatch does not require a 4 hour minimum. My husband only needs help with showering I am able to handle everything else.
Allison & Deanna were both very caring & passionate with Dad's care. They both took the initiative to do housework while others did not. Both ladies deserve a pay raise for the care they gave Dad. Your Company does not want to lose these exceptional caregivers. Dropping the 4 hour minimum should be able to be dropped without the rate increase. I'm sure you have enough business to give your employees the hours. Thank you for your service. Bernie's Family
