I would especially like to acknowledge Christine, the caregiver who became an integral part of our family during such a difficult time. Nurses beware of this agency. I was text by a supposed nurse recruiter for this company asking if I was interested in a home case with a man in Wellington who was suppose to have a knee replacement 1/4/2024. We talked by phone and she felt I would be a good candidate for this case. Felicia had me send her copies of all my credentials including nursing license, social card, bank info etc. Then she went silent so I emailed her on 12/29/2023 asking if this case was going to start. She returned my email on 1/2/2024 saying, "Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I am going to reach out to Judy as she was supposed to be reaching out to you given the case should be starting Jan. 4th. I apologize for the delay in her contacting you." Never heard another thing from them. Be careful who you share your personal info with and check out to see if they are legitimate and professional.
If not for unregulated systems in the State of Florida like Medicare of workers comp where the patient is only $$$. This company absolutely takes advantage of that. Nobody knows what’s going on. The patient comes second. They schedule appointments like the cable company. “ yes, we are exactly like the cable company, this industry has been for a while. “ “Patients are expected to be Available Mon-Fri 8-4 pm. Keep your family away from here if you care about them or your own selfcare.
would give zero stars if I could. The regional manager of Palm Beach and Broward counties is very well spoken and says things like it will be care like I would want for "my own family." Right! My mom was scheduled to have a caregiver at 9:00 AM the first day. She waited and waited and was told the person is "lost" and will be there soon. She waited again. Called again, and was told the caregiver was "still lost". At the 10:00 AM mark she needed her pain medicine badly. She hobbled with her walker got her medicine and something to eat with it. The lady shows up. My mom was exhausted and in pain at that point and needed to rest, and apply ice to her leg. She couldn't even have the caregiver come in and give her instructions for tasks she had waiting for her to help with. Mom just had to lie down and try to sleep. Mom asked the caregiver to come back tomorrow (already was scheduled) as she already had breakfast by herself and was too tired. My mom and I (separately) spoke to the regional manager and expressed our disappointment that the caregiver arrived so late, and that nobody had called my mom to let her know what was happening. We were assured that someone would show up as scheduled the next day. I know no one would believe this, but NO ONE SHOWED UP. The regional manager spoke to my mom (said the caregiver had car trouble!), but did not respond to my voicemail or texts. So my 90 year old mom, who was badly injured from a fall on cement was literally left alone for 2 days. Obviously we are not using senior nannies anymore. If you care for your loved one, find caregivers that at the very least show up when they are scheduled to, or call to inform your suffering family member that a change in schedule is needed. This companies lack of, well, EVERYTHING brought my elderly mom, who is already in so much pain, and grieving the loss of my dad less than 6 months ago to tears. There is no worse sound in the world. Please, if anyone from senior nannies responds to this text with any kind of helpful, apologetic, or caring words do not believe them. Do not use them, do not recommend them. The way my mom was "cared" for was to have someone arrive late the first day (at least an hour or more with no phone call) and no one showing up at all the second day. What an awful experience. I wouldn't wish this on anyone..
Senior Nannie’s worked to provide our family with an effortless experience. I was lost when we decided my mom needed care and this company went out of their way to assist me through the process.
