Seacrest at Home

When my mother passed away suddenly, I was immediately responsible for caring for my Dad who has dementia. I was referred to Seacrest At Home, and remembered how wonderful Seacrest was when my grandmother lived there years ago. I was thrilled to find that Seacrest At Home at been started to assist people who wanted to stay in their own homes. At first, my father was not happy to have people come into his home. He was sure that he could take care of himself and didn't need any help. I held my ground and assured him that having some help was a good thing. It didn't take too long for my dad to recognize how wonderful it was to have friendly people come to clean, make meals, do the laundry, help walk the dog etc. All of his helpers are wonderful and go the extra mile to make my Dad happy. That means to world to me and I am grateful for all of the wonderful people at Seacrest At Home.

I've used Seacrest at Home for over four years, all my Caregivers have been excellent and we have become friends. Ingrid and Michelle more recently are a great help driving me to Doctor appointments and coming with me to help me hear what the Doctor is saying. I have a severe hearing loss,and having a Seacrest at Home Caregiver with me is essential. If needed I can have my Caregiver drive me to do shopping and errands, I have arthritis and they are helping me to become more active. Laundry and dusting my books is a big help too. Seacrest at Home has been providing services to my Mom that allow me to sleep at night, knowing my Mom is safe and cared for. Their caregivers really care.

My choice is to get as much help as you feel necessary that it frees up time for the things you enjoy. Insist on an associate you feel comfortable with and have a pleasurable experience. Management will do their best to accommodate you.
