Options for Senior America

We used Options For Senior care America for my dad for about 6 months . The experience started off good and then got progressively worse due to the number of times their personal care aides would call out, which directly impacted my dad. There is also an issue with quality care givers and level of experience with chronic illnesses. Oftentimes caregiver call outs would result in my dad being left home alone or our family having to abruptly fill gaps in care . Overall management is very responsive and tried to resolve these issues many times but they do not have enough qualified staff in the Baltimore MD area to back fill the amount of call outs . I would recommend Options if your loved one is able to withstand gaps in care. If not , I suggest exploring other companies . We had to move on from Options after a final no call , no show. We simply couldn’t take it anymore.

Options for Senior Care was fantastic. Helped my mom out when she got out to rehab. Managers were extremely responsive and friendly and staff was very supportive and attentive to my mother

It’s a great relief knowing that I can take a break while my mother is in caring, confident hands with her nurses from Options. It is also comforting to know that her case manager has been available for many discussions about mom’s needs and services which supports us as caregivers. Their support has enabled us to keep mom happy knowing that she is with family and us happy knowing Options has our backs!

Options for Seniors was so quick and easy to work with! I requested service for my father while he was still in the hospital, and was set to be released with no plan in place for him at home, but they were fortunately able to pull together a care plan and find a nurse who moved in with my parents that very next week! His nurse has been a godsend to both of my parents, but especially my father. He's very limited in functioning, and she helps him all day, every day! She also cleans up after him and cooks for both of my parents, since my mother isn't really up to that challenge anymore. I would recommend Options for Seniors to anyone looking for in-home permanent (or temporary) care!

She cares so much for our clients and staff.
