Better in Home Care

All the staff at Better in Home Care are fantastic! They treat my mom with respect, kindness, compassion and dignity! They are very flexible with hours and are there in a pinch when the schedule changes unexpectedly! Communication is easy, quick and with fast replies. I know when I cannot be there for my mom she is safe and well taken care of. Thank you for providing such wonderful service.

I would recommend this agency to all my family and friends for care needs in the comfort of your own home!  I called a lot of agencies and I felt like my concerns were not always heard.  I really wanted the assurance that any caregivers being sent to my home would be capable, qualified and honest and Better In Home Care did not disappoint!  The owner and her management team really went above & beyond in getting to know me and my family to see what sort of care and help was needed.  They came out to my house to see how we lived and what was needed to make our home safer.  They did not even charge me for this visit!  I was very happy to meet them.  They were both very nice and seemed genuinely concerned about my safety (I recently fell & had to have an emergency hip replacement surgery).  They set me up to meet my caregiver, who was well-groomed and very kind but also attentive to my situation.  She helped keep my house tidy and assisted with preparing meals. I learned that the caregiver went through a rigorous background check beforehand and that she was state-certified (another plus!).  We are very happy we found this agency and will probably keep them on even after my hip surgery recovery because we are really enjoying the companionship and help around the house with everyday activities that become more challenging as my husband & I age.  Great prices, too!

If safety and security are important to you for in-home care needs for yourself or an elderly loved one, then Better In Home Care is a call you need to make! I learned that all of their caregivers are background checked at a high level and they are required to be certified by the State -- which many agencies do not require! The rates were reasonable as were the shift "minimums" compared to other agencies I spoke with. They also shared that they were fully licensed, insured and bonded, all of which are important to me. The owner is very kind. She will perform a free in-home assessment and safety inspection. There was no obligation to purchase anything or sign up for services. The caregiver sent was very sweet & polite, as well as punctual. The Care Manager took the time to get to know me and my needs before sending over any caregiver that would not have been a good fit. Recovering from a surgery is always difficult, but the folks at this agency really took great care to attend to my needs. I would definitely recommend this care agency to my friends and family!

Better In Home Care provided excellent care to our loved one. Sensitivity and flexibility are key to the services they provide. I highly recommend this agency.

The owner was very nice but unfortunately does not have the enough staff. She provided 1 person who was new to the agency. The care giver was hopeless on every level. On day 4 she showed up to work. I reminded her that she forgot to complete her work from yesterday and she walked out without saying a word. Just left my front door unlocked and disappeared then text the agency to quite and told them never to call her again. Mentally unstable individual as well as incompetent.
