The most caring and professional people we could have hoped for. My mother-in-law was a particular person but absolutely lived her care givers. The office staff were awesome and always returned our calls promptly. Sadly my mother-in-law passed away from natural causes. Home Instead even came to her Celebration of Life.
Home Instead went above and beyond the expectations of our family during their care to our family member. Every employee from Crystal(who does the scheduling), Steven (who came out and explained how Home Instead works), Eric, Ashley and all the endless nurses that came 24/7 to help – were an absolute light in this time of darkness. They didn’t come out to just do their job. They all truly care about their patients. They exceeded all of our expectations. I highly, highly recommend this company if you want good, living care for your loved ones.
I was with Home Instead for approximately four years. They are very caring, very responsible, and the person they sent to provide me with care was someone that fit me perfectly. If I had not had financial difficulties, I would still be using them. They’re an excellent company and they truly care about the people they serve.
Wonderful staff! Eric, Ashley and Crystal go above and beyond to meet whatever needs we had regardless of the often last minute notification. The Care Pro team loved my mom as if she were their own.
We chose homeinstead to help with my dad who was in Hospice care. We did 24 hour care. We had a terrible experience and I would never recommend anyone to use this company to care for a loved one. The overnight care taker slept during her shift, the day shift was always on their cell phones. My mom’s only request was that they be present in the room at all times to tend to my bedbound dad if needed. Several times I walked into the home and found them in the living area on the couch on their cell phone while my dad was left unattended in his room. They were very unprofessional and talked to my mom about inappropriate things including how much they were paid, how the owner did not care and it was all about money to him. Some of the caretakers also asked my mom for food, went through personal belongings for their use. Hospice was concerned about the behavior as well and wrote a very detailed list about what they should be doing and to bridge any communication gaps however nothing changed. When I called Eric to discuss it he seemed shocked however as I came to write this review I saw a very similar one written only a week ago letting me know that he is already aware of some things and he also had the audacity to blame my 81 year old mom for not doing anything about it. We were charged over $10,000 for 24 hour care for 14 days to have people sleep, and be on their cell phones. Please stay away from this company, their caretakers are not trained, not trust worthy and then to have a owner not take any accountability when trying to let him know what we experienced is a direct reflection of why his “ team” is the way they are.
