Visiting Angels

Our experience with Visiting Angels was impeccable. Azel was very professional, patient and knowledgeable. No question went unanswered. My family will always hold a special place in our hearts for the team.

Visiting Angels was a godsend after my mother’s heart attack. I contacted them with Very specific instructions on the type of caregiver we needed and they found the right person and she was able to start the following week. I high recommend them for elderly care and would use them again if needed.

Visiting Angels was wonderful in sending a compassionate and competent home care professional. The Largo office staff was warm and caring. They explained the services and cost to use their program. I was very pleased.

I was really happy with the care my Visiting Angels gave my mother. Not everyone was perfect, of course, but of the eight or nine I worked with, only one was unsatisfactory, and V. A. removed her themselves - I did not have to complain. Seven of the remaining eight were beyond reproach. They were absolutely conscientious about being on time, keeping good records, and that stuff - the mechanics. But the really good thing to me was that they were so attentive and responsive to my ... shall we say ... unique mom. They all clearly cared about her comfort and well-being. Somehow V.A. has figured out how to hire people with the heart for this job. My mom died a week ago, and I am in tears appreciating the sensitivity these lovely women showed.

Unfortunately they do not do drug screens on their employees. I caught one of their caregivers smoking weed in my elderly father's garage. This person also burned down the patio by using a faulty cord on her charge phone. Their insurance company refused to pay so had to go through my dad's insurance company which raised his rates. Although one good thing is Visiting Angels paid the deductible (only after I spoke to regional director). Because of this nightmare I cannot recommend this company. Update to response: Yes the caregiver WAS at fault, the patio didn't burn itself down. Caregiver was using a faulty wire for her phone which caught fire. (PS, caregivers are NOT supposed to be charging phones at my client reaidences
