Home Instead

Home Instead provided my father, Roy, needed care during the final years of his life, so that he could remain at home. The workers were faithful in their duties and attentive to his needs. Home Instead worked with my mother, Linda, on scheduling to ensue that times were covered when she needed the help. The workers became close to my parents and we felt as if they were part of our extended family! This allowed my mother to get out of the house, knowing my father was in good hands and well cared for. Thank you Sandy E. for helping coordinate care and always being so compassionate during our difficult times. A big thank you to Stephanie A., Jeannie T. and Adrian for such wonderful care of my father and helping my mother with chores around the house. We appreciate you more than you know.

My family has had a wonderful experience with Home Instead. They matched my mother with the perfect helper, Kay, and she feels like family to my mom! My mom looks forward to her time with Kay every week. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing that she has her to help a couple of days a week. Kay has become a friend to my mom and I couldn't be more grateful!

Joann has been a welcome addition to our home care plan for my elderly father with dementia. She is genuine, efficient and very caring during this process.

Joann from Home Instead has done wonderful work for my dad. She gets him to walk and take exercise, she helps with his swollen feet that have almost gone completely down, and my dad said he feels cleaner than has in a long time because she helps him with the shower. She is proactive, finding ways to help him beyond what we had hoped she could do. She's also pleasant and enjoyable to talk with. She does all that and is cleaning and doing laundry. Not a minute of her time with him is wasted. And he looks forward to the days she comes.

We have been using Home Instead for awhile now. There has been plenty of time for evaluation of all areas of concern. The staff at Home Instead has always been very responsive to concerns we had and worked diligently to correct any issues we brought up. At present I can't say enough about the excellent care and attention my wife gets from her present Home Instead care giver. She is treated like a dear friend or valued family member. We both look forward for the visits she receives and I can tell my wife considers the care giver a great joy. JHO
