Comfort Keepers

Comfort keepers managed to find caregivers when I was exhausted and needed help. My significant other was dying from cancer and needed around the clock care the last week of his life. The women they sent were caring, kind and knowledgeable and allowed me much needed sleep. I’m very grateful for the help.

The caregivers were all very helpful and I especially appreciated being able to request the caregivers that were best for our situation. They needed to be strong enough to assist my husband who was a large man, and it was also important that I received some help with light housework as I had assumed many responsibilities and needed the extra help.

This is a tough business to be in or a part of, because it is so personal a service. I was referred to CK by a friend and found the style of service to be approachable and mom and pops friendly as a franchise. Initially I used them as a back up for my stepfathers round the clock care. As he needed less and less, I used them for evening care and referred a private caregiver there to be on staff. I thought all was well when less than two weeks from years end, they wanted to release us from services because of the caregivers high turnover. This came out of the blue and I was able to persuade the owner to reconsider by keeping us on half time with a regular caregiver. Whew! What a relief that they were able to compromise and save my step pa and me as primary care advocate and manager, the blood sweat and tears of contracting another organization. Everyone is very friendly in admin. The caregivers were hit or miss, hence the turnover, but we are very happy with our current daytime ‘keeper’ as Jim terms the caregivers. 🙏thank you Jim Rudolph and team for hanging in with this process and us.

Our family retained Comfort Keepers to help and support our mom and dad and their services far exceeded our expectations. The management of the company was very helpful and extremely easy to work with. They did a fantastic job listening to our situation and explaining the options. The staff that provides the in home services is professional, caring and always on time. We researched many other providers, but they just didn't have the knowledgeable professionals that Comfort Keepers has on staff. This was the best decision we made to work with this company.
