Leading Edge Senior Care is fulfilling my father’s dream of living in his own home during the final years of life. Owners, Michelle and Jason, maintain a compassionate, competent team, which brings happiness and fun into the home. Because these managers are often involved in the care themselves, they have insight into the specific needs and preferences of each client. They are innovative and resourceful, navigating the ever-changing challenges of my father’s care. I believe the goal of this company is to help each client have the best life possible. I like that. "They take real good care of me," is what I often hear from Dad, and I heartily agree!

Three years ago, dad was diagnosed with dementia (now late-stage Alzheimer’s). After a year of mom taking care of him alone, we set out on the very difficult task of finding help for mom. That’s when we found Leading Edge Senior Care. Michele spoke with me for over an hour on the phone. That was the moment I knew I wanted Leading Edge Senior Care taking care of my mom and dad. Michele met with my parents and with their input, created a care plan that was perfect for their needs. Two days later, we met Jason. What can I say about Jason – Michele knew exactly who to match with dad. He and dad instantly bonded and to this day, Jason is an integral part of our family. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, loving, and funny as hell. As I live out of state, Jason makes it a priority to communicate with me regarding dad’s progress, his concerns and most importantly he sends me pictures of all the fun they are having together. At the same time, mom is getting the much-needed break she needs without a worry that dad is exactly who he needs to be with. When people say a person is all that and more, that’s Jason. If Jason is dad’s person while maneuvering through this terrible disease, that makes me extremely happy!

My Mom came to live with me 6 months ago. I work from home and am newly engaged. I wasn't sure how i was going to do it. Care giving is a full time job and I knew that I couldn't be the care giver AND her daughter. I looked around and did a ton of research. I called Leading Edge and Michele came out to visit with us. She was incredible. My Mom took to her right away. Leading Edge takes all of the worry out of it for you. We have two care givers right now that have become a part of our family. In my office I hear Mom laughing and having fun. Michele comes by and visits Mom and brings her activities and baskets of goodies and checks on us to make sure things are going well. BEST thing I did was contact Leading Edge.

From the moment we met Michele…we KNEW we had made the right decision to have Leading Edge be our care providers for my mother and father. From day one her and her amazing staff of the most wonderful care givers have taken the best care of my parents. I can go on all day about them, but the most solidifying moment is when the care givers tell my parents they love them!!!! Oh my goodness! Thank you for all you do! You truly have made this time of our lives easier with your love and support!
