I don’t know how I received this referral for Home Care Plus. We paid one thousand dollars. I had major ear surgery on October 30,2024. My husband had a hernia repair November 14,2024. A representative was scheduled to come on October 13,2024. My husband has a TBI. I needed transportation and help at this time. The representative was ill and appointment was postponed until November 15. I explained what I needed and was assured I would receive this help. I just had surgery and was taking narcotics. I don’t know how you had our credit card and was shocked when I saw the bill. Perhaps once or twice I received help. Most providers needed supervision for everything. When they were not supervised I found them on a cellphone. I paid for lunch breaks and 2 other breaks. I was charged for times when they weren’t here or left early. I called in tears after employee stormed out of my home calling me a “dictator .” She needed supervision to prepare a protein shake! The experience was frustrating,exhausting and expensive.
