A Caring Hand Home Care

I work in the home health field and understand what goes into getting a patient in the system and sending someone out to help them. I called the Sandy location and dealt mostly with Matt. Matt was never mean or disrespectful. I needed some care for my daughter who is in a wheelchair but living alone. I was initially told everything was a go and they would have no problem helping her. The nurse first saw my daughter a month after my initial contact with the agency. After the assessment she told my daughter that it would be another month before anyone would come to help her. Most agencies see the patient within 48 hours and an aide starts working with the patient almost immediately after that. I checked with Matt to see when exactly an aide would be there to assist. Matt asked if he could check with scheduling and call me back. I agreed. This happened twice. After the first time I waited 3 hours, then called him. I decided if they were not interested in caring for my daughter. I found another agency that confirmed my daughters insurance and got back to me within 15 minutes. I was not able to give zero stars or I would have. This agency failed from the start. Bob

We have been a customer of A Caring Hand for some time and they have been very unreliable, and unprofessional. This week they have not shown up two times, and it is only Thursday. The CNA's constantly call in sick and there is no backup to help out. At times I have been late for work because they do not inform you of the absence until you have 30 minutes to provide care for your disabled family member. I have been given CNA's and trained them on how to care for my husband, then they give them to another family. This has been a constant problem and we have been through many CNA's through no fault of our own.

My name is Joseph and I have to say somethings about a caringhand. I'm grateful for the service they provide for me. and I'm grateful for the behind the scenes that the staff dose to get the job done. even with medical conditions . Life can be good and bad at times that's life .what I'm trying to is this that a caringhand has been a blessing to me in so many ways .I'm grateful for them and I'm happy that I have a caring hand . Even though my medical condition changes I'm grateful for the staff they're always willing to help anyway they can .and it's always way awesome when a caregiver stops by even though they may not be able to change the situation that your in but they have a smile and they do anything they can to help you. I love this company so much I would recommend this company to others because of my experience .when the cargivers stop in my place I tell them thank you for your service and I have a rule in my palce that before you leave you need to get a sucker or a treat in the cat cookie jar .and they look at me and say thank you. and I say your welcome and i say thank for your service .I say there my heavnly angels and they are my super heroes .
