SENIOR HELPERS

We had Senior Helpers taking care of Mom & Dad for seven months and they were so helpful! Our primary caregiver Elisa did a tremendous job and with loving compassion as if they were her own parents, even with the challenges that came along as their health declined. I would give her 10 stars if I could. She went over and above! Thank you!

Jessie was a five star helper, but she was promoted in the office and was no longer available. Her replacement twice cancelled at the last minute leaving me high and dry. After that I cancelled their services.

Last year, a few months before her death, my mom needed assistance at home. Very independent and still sharp as a tack at 91, she just lost strength My siblings and I live out of state so had to rely on Senior Helpers to help us take care of her remotely and to set up a schedule of round the clock care in only a day or two. They were phenomenal. It was a new experience for me having to organize care for a somewhat stubborn person, but they were there for everything: whether it was adjusting a schedule at the last minute (my mom’s needs increased suddenly), introducing a new aide if my mom was unhappy with one (it happened once or twice, but very rarely, even with 24x7 coverage). Overall — and I don’t say this often —it really felt like they shared our concerns and anxiety. We really felt like we had a strong support team. They were a tremendous comfort to my family. They responded to calls at all hours, seemed to share our anxiety about my mom, and did a great job of matching my mom with aides she liked: who understood her fastidiousness, privacy, and preferences. Of the agencies we interviewed they clearly shone above others in the enthusiasm the staff expressed for the agency and in the apparent quality of the people they employ. I whole heartedly recommend them.

Management is very attentive to client needs. Companion care providers are caring and thorough. I would recommend them to anyone!
