Good Samaritan Senior Care

We have a caregiver (Peggy) whom we LOVE through Good Samaritan. We use Good Samaritan with the expectation that they can provide backup should our primary caregiver be ill or on vacation. Using an agency such as Good Samaritan is significantly more expensive than independently hiring a caregiver, but we are willing to pay that higher rate because we don't want our 93 year old mother with mobility issues and mild dementia left alone in the event Peggy is not available. Unfortunately, we have found Good Samaritan to RARELY be able to provide any backup caregivers. They just say “it’s not possible” and leave us in the lurch. Their communication is very lacking at times as well…resulting in our 93 yo mom being left alone today until 2pm without a caregiver until we happened to call our mom and find her still in bed waiting for her caregiver to arrive! I happen to work in the industry and this is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE in so many ways!!

Good Samaritan Senior Care strives to deliver the best possible care to its clients and their families. The caregiving staff is professional in their actions and appearance. Along with their professionalism, other core values include timeliness, integrity, compassion and continual training. My experience with the office staff and their caregivers has been exceptional. One of the best in the industry.

Good Samaritan Senior Care took such good care of my sister. She was in a wheelchair and they would come and pick her up, take her grocery shopping and to do errands. Everybody she met was so kind to her and she talked very highly about each caregiver that came . She passed away recently but I'm thankful for this organization for making her life easier.
