Home Instead

It has truly been a God sent blessing using HomeInstead in helping keep my wonderful aunt and uncle in their home. They have been so loving and caring as if my aunt and uncle were part of their family. Cissy, Christy, Michelle, Pat, and Deb are our regulars and you could not ask for a greater group of people who work as a team and are in constant communications with the family, myself and sister. When we have had concerns, Kayla has always responded quickly and professionally. We are so blessed to have such an awesome group of professionals in my aunt and uncles home, giving use the peace to know our loved ones are truly being cared for! Thank You Home Instead!!!!!!! We have been very happy with Home Instead as they have helped out with my Mom's care over the past three months. We use them 2-4 full days and nights a month when family is unable to be with her. We have been happy with each caregiver and also like that we can use their online system to see who is with Mom at anytime and what is going on.

I am in awe of Home Instead. My relationship with them started in October on a mission to find care. My parents were very concerned about someone being in their home (a common concern) until nurse Valerie came in along with owner Creighton. My parents were blown away with their expertise, kindness, dedication, and fast response. The day before our new caregiver arrived, my parents reverted a bit and began to once again have concerns. I asked them to give it a chance and they graciously did. Today they met their caregiver and I am pretty sure they fell straight in love. Both have given her VERY high marks and fingers crossed this is a long-term relationship that will bring both parties (Mom and Q) a lot of joy, comfort, learning from each other and our family some relief that Mom is well taken care of! Can't say enough good things. The staff is amazing as well!

Steer clear. They are misleading and will not follow through with their care plan. I had specific instructions for no males to be staying with my grandmother. Well, on the 4th day they couldn't schedule a female so they were going to send a male. Also, expect to pay in advance for your loved ones care. They don't tell you but I was told by the Statesville Office that's its in the fine print. I terminated their services on the fourth day and am happy to say I have found a reputable agency to stay with my grandmother. And the guy that shows up for the initial "interview" portrays himself as the CEO and founder. He's just a franchise owner. Seriously, save yourself some stress and anger..... stay away. Only reason I gave them a star is the one lady, Anna, was nice. Not her fault.

The Home Instead staff is very responsive to every request, and they make every effort to meet our needs. Our current caregiver goes out of the way to make sure my mom is well-cared for, not just her physical needs, but also helps her learn new things and makes her laugh. Life is so much better for our entire family with help from Home Instead.
