Right at Home has helped me with my daddy for 9 years now. They are friendly and care about their clients. They send him a birthday card and Christmas card every year and make yearly visits to check on him.
I called for last minute assistance for my nephew with a spinal cord injury that's in a wheelchair and coming down to Myrtle Beach for a family vacation. I called a number of places that said they could help, but actually just strung me along. I called Right at Home and Elizabeth immediately understood my needs and tried to help, even though she couldn't find anyone, she explained to me how I could make my nephews vacation grand, things like which restaurants and areas were best for wheelchair accessible, how to get a beach wheelchair so that he could go on the beach. The last thing she offered, which I will never forget...she said she would be happy to meet us on the night we arrived on her personal time to help. I was completely frightening to take care of my nephew without an assistance, Elizabeth gave me the help, knowledge, and confidence to do it and we had an absolute ball. This place Really Cares.
