Reliable Hospice
Reliable Hospice
Reliable Hospice is a Medicare-certified hospice provider serving Anaheim, California and surrounding areas. A Medicare-certified hospice provides comfort care and support services to patients with terminal illnesses and their families. Hospice care focuses on quality of life rather than curative treatment.
Hospice care is available to patients whose physician certifies they have a terminal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients may receive hospice care at home, in a hospice facility, nursing home, or hospital.
Medicare-certified hospices must provide all four levels of hospice care: routine home care, continuous home care for periods of crisis, general inpatient care for symptom management, and inpatient respite care to give caregivers a break. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and trained volunteers.
Medicare covers hospice services with no cost to patients for most services, including medications for symptom control, medical equipment, and 24-hour access to care. For more information about hospice benefits, visit Medicare.gov. Compare hospice providers at Medicare Care Compare.
Quality data and provider information are updated periodically by CMS. We recommend verifying current information at Medicare Care Compare.

Reliable Hospice walks the walk when it comes to quality care and communication. I have been especially impressed with Michelle RN and Kimberly MSW, they are an incredible duo! I am new to the Inland Empire, so finding a RELIABLE hospice can be a challenge! As a Memory Care Director, I have had some unfortunate experiences with lack of communication. Reliable Hospice has always been consistent and amazing. If you are looking for a hospice that will treat your loved one as if they are their own, this is the place.
Reliable Hospice has been consistent with the service and level of care that they provide. I have been using them in multiple facilities that I own, and have had zero issues with any family that has used Reliable Hospice. All around a great organization that has excellent and competent staff that is actually concerned about your loved ones comfort and well being during a difficult time. Thank you for all that you do.
My mom was in a home care house with 24-hour caregivers. Reliable staff were very responsive to providing whatever was needed. Mom's RN, Irene, was so good with communicating to me and caregivers any health concerns that took place. Reliable Social Worker, Amanda, sure kept me informed and was very proactive when she noticed something needed, i.e., hospital bed padding on rails. Thank you Reliable for your competent staff.
Reliable Hospice is the Hospice Company that we rely on at Caceres Medical Group, Inc. They are very professional and there when we need them. Our patients that have use Reliable in the past has nothing but good things to say. Their staff is so warm and friendly and they have an excellent Pastor on their team.
Other than our wonderful Chaplain, Jim, and our bathing aid, Maria, the rest of our "care team" was terrible. We never had a scheduled doctor visit, had so many issues. The final straw was after having to force them to come out to help us get the meds and hospice stuff figured out, dad had a coughing fit that was horrible! It was so scary! Fortunately, we had our own private health aid at the house when it happened, but when I called Reliable, in a panic, they basically told me to give it 10 minutes to see if it would pass. We were using the electric suctioning, and they told me to wait. Did anyone follow up later that night, or even the next morning???NO!! Not sure if we had the wrong expectations about what hospice should or shouldn't be, but this was not even close. We decided to change companies, and they cancelled Maria's care of my dad tonight, even though the transfer doesn't happen until tomorrow! Terrible service, would never recommend! I hope Jim and Maria find a company that reflects the compassion and love they shared with my Dad and my family. Sadly, reliable is not that company.
