This is the WORST Hospice I’ve ever dealt with. If you’re looking for help for a loved one, RUN don’t walk, RUN. You will get no help from them. They told us to just sedate our loved one so we didn’t have to deal with them. Never showed up after hours when an emergency happened, again just give him morphine… Didn’t show up for regular visits, CNA would come to bathe and when they did, refused to do it unless someone was there to help them. When I say worst, I’m not exaggerating. If I could leave no stars, I would. Someone needs to shut them down.

We signed on to Accent Hospice care since they were affiliated with Texas Home Health, which we had exceptional care with. Starting care was smooth, as our first 2 nurses were exceptional and advocated for my father. Since then, we have received marginal care. They have treated my father as every other Hospice patient, not taking the time to address his individual needs and condition. After talking to the “team leader” today, I am convinced that there is just a routine plan of care that they follow and ignore what the specific patients needs are…unwilling and at times apathetic to my father’s individual needs. I would not recommend Accent Hospice to anyone, and wished in hindsight that I had gone researched the reviews and made a different choice.

My experience with accentcare has been for a better word traumatizing. They don't care about your loved ones , they have horrible communication and will do the absolute bare minimum to ease your concerns.

A poor excuse for hospice care. Do not waste your time subscribing to this service. They significantly overpromise and most assuredly underdeliver, starting with the leadership.
