Orange Hospice

During the most difficult time in our lives, the team at Orange Hospice provided incredible support, kindness, and professionalism. We had reached out to them as we were making the decision to discontinue our mother’s chemotherapy. Orange Hospice had come highly recommended to us and having a Korean speaker was important for us, so we chose to entrust Orange Hospice with our mom’s care. Everything happened very quickly for us. Our mother’s condition deteriorated so quickly, but Orange Hospice was with us each step of the way. They worked at lightning speed to bring in a hospital bed, an oxygen machine, and other medical equipment and supplies that our mom might need. Medicines were delivered quickly as well. They took the time to listen to our mom’s condition and needs, were available to us around the clock, and answered phone calls and messages even during night time and early mornings. From the very beginning, they treated our mom and our entire family with dignity, patience, and compassion. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt informed, supported, and comforted every step of the way. We are especially grateful to Ms. Park who arranged everything for us and got us registered so quickly, and Nurse Natt who always took the time to listen, answer questions, and ensure our mom was comfortable. Our mom was under Orange Hospice’s care for not even one week. When she passed, Natt came to our house immediately, and her presence was a huge source of comfort for us. We are deeply grateful for everything Orange Hospice did for our family. We will always remember their warmth and kindness.

We sought the support of Orange Hospice during the most difficult transition of our lives: discontinuing chemotherapy for our mother who was battling aggressive stomach cancer. We were facing a very rapid decline in her health, and the urgency of our situation required immediate action. Orange Hospice was highly recommended to us via City Of Hope, and crucially, they offered the Korean language support that was essential for my father. The speed and professionalism of the Orange Hospice team were astonishing. From the moment we made the call, they mobilized instantly. Within hours, they had successfully orchestrated the delivery of a hospital bed, oxygen equipment, and essential medical supplies directly to our home, ensuring Mom had everything necessary for comfort. The prompt delivery of medication was also seamless. Although our mother was only in their care for a few short days—less than a week—the impact they made was profound. Every member of the team treated our mother and our entire family with unwavering dignity, respect, and kindness. They served as a constant lifeline, patiently answering our complex questions and being available for support calls and text messages at all hours, including late nights and before dawn. We are eternally grateful for Nurse Nat. She listened intently to our concerns, ensured Mom’s comfort was the absolute priority, and—even after Mom passed away—she arrived immediately to offer an immense source of calm and consolation. The team at Orange Hospice went far beyond their professional duty. Their warmth and steadfast support helped us navigate this intensely painful and fast-moving five days with grace. We highly recommend them and will forever hold them in the highest regard.

I'm not one to write reviews but feel that I needed to write this one for Orange Hospice because it was google and the reviews that led me to them. I was unfamiliar with the end of life process and originally had my mother under the care of a different hospice company that was recommended to me by her assisted living facility. I soon felt that she wasn't getting the care that she needed and switched to Orange Hospice. The care that Orange Hospice provided for my family and my mom was really above and beyond and I learned that not all hospice services are the same. They were so informative and took time to explain everything to me and answer every one of my countless phone calls and questions with care and respect. The nurses were top notch and professional yet personal and caring. They were compassionate, and kind and they went above their duties to take care of my mother. I feel that every nurse, and team member from Orange Hospice were heaven sent to us. I want to especially thank Nat, who really went out of her way to make sure that my mother was never alone during the her final days. I also want to add that I'm Korean American and my mother is Korean, I was looking for a Hospice Service that could communicate with my mother in Korean and with me in English, Orange Hospice provided that for us as well. From the experienced office staff to the exceptional nurses, everyone went above and beyond to support our family during a difficult time. The office team was always responsive and on top of everything whenever we needed assistance. Their 24-hour hotline was a lifesaver—available anytime we had urgent concerns or needed guidance. It gave us real peace of mind knowing help was always just a phone call away. When my mother was discharged from the hospital, Orange Hospice coordinated everything flawlessly. They made sure her apartment was fully equipped with all the necessary medical supplies, equipment, and medications before she even arrived. Their efficiency and attention to detail were truly impressive. What stood out most was how they treated my mother—not just as a patient, but as a person. Their care was warm, personal, and deeply respectful. It made her feel valued and comfortable, which meant the world to us. I strongly recommend orange Hospice to your loved ones who needs hospice care.
