Eden Hospice Care

A++++. David answered our initial phone call immediately. He quickly came to our home at 8pm spent over 3 hours explaining the process to our large family and answered all of our questions in an easily understandable way. The process he described is exactly what unfolded as my Grandfather went through the process of dying. Derick the nurse was so compassionate, empathetic and respectful to our needs. He treated my grandfather with dignity and respect while assessing him. Derick also provided the aftercare once my grandfather passed. He was at our home within minutes of us calling. Again, he provided empathetic care once our love one passed and walked us through the mortuary process. I wish I could remember the female nurse who assisted us at night. She was also a wonderful and empathetic nurse. Thank you Eden Hospice Care, your help was very much needed and appreciated. I cannot put in words how much your team helped our family during our difficult time.

My father and mother had been with this hospice for almost seven months. Lydia, the assigned nurse was simply outstanding! She was caring, understanding, and efficient. She communicated well and was always quick to respond. My parents loved Lydia. They looked forward to her weekly visits. David was also a nurse and the director of hospice. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to accommodate my parents. They are an amazing team! When emergencies arose, I could always depend on David even in the middle of the night. He answered all my calls and would direct me step-by-step as to what to do. Both David and Lydia were committed to caring compassionately and expertly for patients with genuine concern. They provided us with all the medical equipment, supplies, and medications that were needed. They guided me throughout a very difficult in trying time and made sure I understood everything. They have been my strength and support when I most needed it. I could not have made it through this ordeal without their hospice care. In her last days, my mother was made comfortable through their excellent care and made sure that she passed peacefully and with dignity at home. I would highly recommend Eden Hospice to any family in need of hospice care. I'll be forever grateful for their service, and compassionate caring staff! Words cannot convey all they have meant to me throughout the most trying times! Thank you.
