Serenity Hospice is a Medicare-certified hospice provider serving Eugene, Oregon and surrounding areas. A Medicare-certified hospice provides comfort care and support services to patients with terminal illnesses and their families. Hospice care focuses on quality of life rather than curative treatment.
Hospice care is available to patients whose physician certifies they have a terminal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients may receive hospice care at home, in a hospice facility, nursing home, or hospital.
Medicare-certified hospices must provide all four levels of hospice care: routine home care, continuous home care for periods of crisis, general inpatient care for symptom management, and inpatient respite care to give caregivers a break. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and trained volunteers.

Serenity Hospice was very good with my mom. Helping with what she needs and stepping in and keeping in constant contact with me as well. I used a different company prior and they just did not see about Mom. Serenity is definitely the one to choose!
It has been so fantastic to have serenity hospice in charge of things like mom’s meds, Medical furniture, and care items. We no longer have to take her to the doctor every few days to get meds adjusted. It is a relief to know that there are Nurses that come to my mom in Memory Care, rather than having to have 911 called for emergencies. Mom is in a really good care facility, but hospice has added another layer of protection and peace of mind for our family.
Serenity Hospice has been a valuable resource for my family. My father received care from Serenity Hospice during his final days at Valley West nursing home in Eugene, and now in my home with my Mother, we are receiving the same attentive care that I remember them offering. We used Serenity hospice for my brother. What an amazing group of people to help and support my brother and our family in a very difficult time. They were there for my brother and all of us from the time they started until even after my brother passed. To the staff even came to the funeral. The nurse was very caring and met with us regularly to adjust meds and treatments to deal with his pain and anxiety. They had people to give him massages when he was in pain, and help with bathing and treatments. The chaplain and social worker both got especially close with my brother. We were so thankful for their help. It may sound somewhat Triton time-worn, but these guys were truly amazing.
