Mount Evans Hospice

I have used the professional services of MtEvans Home Healthcare for the last several years. At first it was because of a fall and referral from my Dr. The Physical Therapist looked at my swollen legs and feet and called in Liz a specially trained Occupational Therapist. After only one session with Liz my legs looked and felt normal. I am 90 years of age and so look forward to the visits of Victoria (my Physical Therapist), and Liz (my Occupational Therapist). It is like visits from two daughters. They not only help with medical problems they brighten my day. Evergreen is very lucky to have the services of MtEvans.

I am forever grateful for the extraordinary care I received from the Mount Evans Home Healthcare team. Susan, Brittany, Victoria, Doug, and Shannon, your compassion and dedication has been a beacon of hope and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for guiding me through this journey.

My Evan's Home Health received orders from three different doctors including the surgeon, my primary care physician, and my neurosurgeon. Also, I myself am a doctor and I happen to specialize in rural home health and rehabilitation. During the assessment the physical therapist put together a powerlifting sled and placed 200 lb on it (I have a four and a half foot incision from my head down). They called for approval of their plan which they received fromy doctor's office. Which I have verified in writing. The manager or owner of Mt Evans home health then called me and lied that the doctor did not approve the plan. I am friends with the doctor so I contacted him and they never spoke to him. Their behavior put my life at risk. They are extremely unethical, disorganized, and I able to care for patients appropriately. I would never refer a patient to them and as an expert I consider them to be a threat to human life. Any healthcare organization who is on record lying to patients and referring healthcare providers poses an imminent danger. They will not be licensed for long as I am confident Colorado's regulatory agencies will be shutting them down because I have been in contact with them. So I would not start therapy with them even if they are close to you. You will have to switch mid treatment.

Mount Evans Home Health Care is an excellent organization for people recently discharges from a hopital needing extra health care. I have had numerous physical therapists over the years for sports related injuries and iilnesses. But none more knowledgeable, professional and motivational than Victoria. We spent two months getting my strength back up so I could comfortly live by myself. Victoria is the very best physical therapist I have ever worked with by far.

Britta, Shannon, and Victoria were all pleasant, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. If there were a way to keep them coming to our home to help, I would do so.
