Shalom took wonderful care of my mother. The entire process from qualifying her to taking care of her was the best. They made us comfortable and relaxed from the beginning. Very trustworthy and honest. GOOD people! The nurses were terrific. The young lady that came and gave Mom her baths was as sweet as she could be. I very highly recommend them. They are very passionate and genuinely care about the patient and the family. Thank you Shalom, you were a blessing to my Mom and my family. We will always be grateful.

Shalom Hospice is the first black owned Hospice in KCMO and Missouri. It serves the entire Greater Kansas City Community no matter race, religion, sexual orientation or creed. Shalom puts emphasis on community education about Hospice and it's true meaning, which disposes of all the myths, untruths, and fabricated concepts that people try to make into a reality. Shalom has a great team of qualified professionals who are all dedicated public servants. Not only is Hospice care their job, but it is their calling and it is inscribed in their DNA. Shalom Hospice, I can't say enough about this amazing company. In my time of need caring for my mother , the members from the directors Marquita and Tyrone Davis , the nursing staff, spiritual support , down to the office employees were all there to make this very difficult time easiest to manage. The nursing was outstanding going above and beyond to give exceptional loving care to my mom in a time that was difficult for me as her caregiver. Staff was there for me 24/7 . If I needed any information or help , they were a phone call away. Shalom offered me the caregiver, physical, mental and spiritual support which is so much needed when going through a situation of a family member needing you more than ever. It doesn't have to be unbearable. You have help. Shalom Hospice was there to lift that weight, I can't thank them enough. It's been a year since my mother's transition and I still receive check-ins from Shalom's spiritual support. This was truly a God send. You don't want to do it alone , please allow Shalom Hospice to be part of the journey , Respect and dignity your loved one deserves that. This is what Shalom does and is all about. Thank you so much. My mother was under the professional & loving care of the staff at Shalom hospice for 4 months. They truly cared not only for my mother but for me as the caregiver. My mother looked forward to their visits, from the owners, nurses, aides & spiritual counselors. They all took care of our family!💜

I've heard so many negative things against hospice. Shalom Hospice proved me wrong. From the very first time I contacted them. They made us feel like family. They took really great care of my mom and family. The were with us from the beginning to the end, they treated my mom with such gentle care ❤️.
