Comfort Plus Hospice is a Medicare-certified hospice provider serving Peoria, Illinois and surrounding areas. A Medicare-certified hospice provides comfort care and support services to patients with terminal illnesses and their families. Hospice care focuses on quality of life rather than curative treatment.
Hospice care is available to patients whose physician certifies they have a terminal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients may receive hospice care at home, in a hospice facility, nursing home, or hospital.
Medicare-certified hospices must provide all four levels of hospice care: routine home care, continuous home care for periods of crisis, general inpatient care for symptom management, and inpatient respite care to give caregivers a break. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and trained volunteers.

If you’re looking for people who actually care, this is the place. They’ve looked after our  grandpa with so much heart. They show up, they listen, and they make sure our he is comfortable and supported. We appreciate them more than words can say.
They were very caring for both my Mom and for me during moms last days. I could call anytime and get advice on how to care for mom. Carrie, Moms nurse is so kind and helped me with coming to terms with everything. Mom was kept as comfortable as we could make her even at the very end. If Mom had any issues I knew I could call and Laura would help with anything we needed. Whether it was changes to meds or just getting Mom a good bath, Laura and Carrie were there to get mom what she needed. They were patient with me and I felt mom was well cared for. I would recommend them to anyone.
My aunt was being cared for by Comfort Plus Hospice, and without the support that we needed, they provided to her and my Uncle. My Uncle is my Dads Brother and the were in the Vietnam War together and My Uncle now has Cancer and has to drive all the way to the Chicago VA.
