Hospice Promise
Hospice Promise is a Medicare-certified hospice provider serving Surprise, Arizona and surrounding areas. A Medicare-certified hospice provides comfort care and support services to patients with terminal illnesses and their families. Hospice care focuses on quality of life rather than curative treatment.
Hospice care is available to patients whose physician certifies they have a terminal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients may receive hospice care at home, in a hospice facility, nursing home, or hospital.
Medicare-certified hospices must provide all four levels of hospice care: routine home care, continuous home care for periods of crisis, general inpatient care for symptom management, and inpatient respite care to give caregivers a break. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and trained volunteers.

I really don't know where to start. Hospice Promise and their team have been amazing. When mom was officially moved into hospice care, the decision was made late on a Sunday night. My expectation was, we'd see someone Tuesday, Monday at the soonest. Johanna arrived that same night (Sunday), about an hour or so after the hand-off. She was incredibly attentive and very caring and she wasn't the exception, she was the rule: Everyone who has followed has been absolutely amazing. Carole, Mike, Mikaela, Jose, Krista, Nichole and Nichole's trainee (sorry I forgot your name) have shown her so much genuine concern and attention - it's just not something I expect or have experienced with her care. If you are looking for hospice care for a loved one, I just can not recommend Hospice Promise enough. It is just an incredible amount of attentive, knowledgeable care.
