Male Caregiver - Carnation

Job Overview We are seeking a male caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to a client in their own home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will be responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of the client. This role involves working closely with seniors , promoting their independence while respecting their dignity and rights. Responsibilities Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing to clients. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Monitor clients' health status by observing changes in their physical or emotional condition. Implement care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring adherence to resident rights. Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation to appointments or social activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light cleaning tasks. Foster a positive relationship with clients through effective communication and companionship Driving the clients to appointments Skills Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices. Experience in senior care or home community care settings is preferred. Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for them effectively. Familiarity with working with people with disabilities is an asset. Proficient in developing and following care plans tailored to individual client needs. Excellent patient monitoring skills to identify any changes in health or behavior promptly. Compassionate caregiving skills that promote dignity, respect, and independence for clients.
