Part-time Day/Evening Caregiver

Corvallis Caring Place (CCP), a not-for-profit assisted living facility located in Oregon s beautiful Willamette Valley, provides compassionate, quality care for seniors who need assistance with activities of daily living. CCP is a 42 apartment facility that offers affordable studio or one-bedroom apartments to seniors. We are currently seeking compassionate individuals for the role of Resident Assistant (RA)/Caregiver. Our Resident Assistants are responsible to both assist with activities of daily living [ADLs] per the resident's service plan and to enrich the lives of our residents on a daily basis. ADLs include tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers/mobility. Additionally the RAs help promote a general sense of well-being and encourage socialization opportunities. Must be self-motivated and show initiative while working within a team. Currently recruiting for a part-time position of 2-3 shifts per week with flexibility to cover day (6 AM - 2 PM) and evening shift (2 PM - 10 PM) with opportunity for full-time with benefits. Experience desired but will train. Successful Resident Assistants have potential to advance to Medication Technicians.
