In this role, you will provide care services to Residents while maintaining their safety and comfort. Additional responsibilities include: · Assist Residents with their ADL's and the administration of their medications ·Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all Residents while following company policies and procedures ·Follow Medication Administration Records (MAR) and doctors’ orders ·Ensures that patient prescription needs are met in a timely manner. · Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities · Supporting Residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being · Follow all policies and procedures, adhering to instructions of the Administrator Qualifications: · Certified Medication Tech, Nursing Aide, First Aid and/or CPR certifications · Experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients a plus · Must be able to speak and read in English · Previous experience with the geriatric population preferred, providing assistance with ADLs · Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routine · Basic understanding of dementia; patience and tact in redirecting Residents · Ability to adjust to different personality types and situations · Must be reliable, caring, and gentle · Ability to provide abiding respect for the elderly and to remain calm at all times
