Below is the ad I used for Indeed: We are a small, exclusive Home Care agency located in East Pasco County. Currently, we have two to three openings available to provide services to our clients. Because almost all of our clients eventually need some assistance with personal care, we are only looking for caring experienced caregivers who have a current FL CNA license or an approved HHA certificate (see below for details). Independent Contractor- We are a Referral Agency. This means you are referred to as an independent contractor. As such, you operate as a sole proprietor (with all of the benefits that come with that). Daily duties include housekeeping, laundering , nutrition and meal preparation, shopping, errands , domestic animal and indoor plant care, appointments, etc. Part time and limited full time positions available. The clients will always decide who will provide the services and when those services are needed. Compensation depends on the hours of duty. You get paid by a third party payer and you set aside your own taxes. Requirements Caregivers must have: A current FL CNA license or an approved HHA certificate If CNA: Please submit CNA license number in your email for verification purposes If HHA: Please submit name of school, location, and number of hours on your certificate for verification purposes(must be at least 40 hours of training from a Department of Education approved school; ) Experience in the Home Care setting Valid Driver's License and reliable automobile with valid liability insurance Eligible Level 2 Criminal Background Check through AHCA Current unexpired CPR with in person skills (CPR done on line is not acceptable) Note : as of 5/4/2015 Florida state requires that all CPR cards be issued by the Red Cross or American Heart association.
