Home Health Aide (HHA) Job Description
Schwartz Family Home Care is looking for experienced HHA’s and CNA's, to work as independent contractors, as we grow quickly in Broward, Dade and Palm Beach County. Schwartz Family Home Care is an established home health care registry referring qualified care in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties for over 20 years.
We have day and night time shifts available with competitive pay. You must have a valid Florida Driver's License and a car.
You will have the opportunity to improve your client's quality of life by providing friendly and compassionate care. We are looking for patient and focused individuals like you, who truly care about quality home care.
CNA/HHA Caregiver Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist with personal care: ADLs, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene, incontinence care, transfers and ambulation; Accompany/drive client to doctors’ appointments and grocery shopping.
Companionship, basic food preparation, and light housekeeping.
Maintain safe and clean home environment
CNA/HHA Requirements:
1. CNA License or HHA Certificate
2. Certificates: Alzheimer’s, HIV/AIDS, CPR, Assist with Medication, OSHA
3. Florida drivers license; Proof of Auto insurance
4. AHCA Level 2 Background Screening (Social Security number required)
5. Professional references
6. Professional Liability Insurance
7. Physical within the last 6 months stating ‘Free of Communicable Diseases’
Ideal candidates will have their own car, a cell phone, a computer and be Covid vaccinated.
HHA’s and CNA's must also speak English well; have a clean arrest record and a good driving record.
Must be able to come to our Lauderdale Lakes office for one time registration.
