Amazing Care Providers wanted!

POSITION SUMMARY: The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and routine daily care and services related to the residents in accordance with the Resident Care Profile, and/or as directed by the Executive Director and Health Services Director in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life. In addition, the Care Provider is responsible for assisting residents with recreational activities to help maintain their optimum level of functioning. Care Provider may be required to provide supervision to Care Providers during an assigned shift. The Care Provider is responsible for providing direct personal care and supervision in accordance with the residents’ individualized Service Plan. The Care Provider will offer choice, maintain dignity and promote individuality in order to enhance the residents’ independence, satisfaction and quality of life. In addition to assisting the resident with activities of daily living, the Care Provider will encourage residents to participate in activities, work with housekeepers and maintenance staff to maintain community cleanliness, assist with dining services and communicate with other departments as needed to ensure resident needs are met
