Duties include, but are not limited to: Companionship Light housekeeping Meal Preparation Medication reminders Errands Assistance to & from appointments Activities of Daily Living such as dressing, grooming, feeding, incontinence care, and transferring Specialized care such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Requirements to be a Caregiver: Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect Available on the weekends Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance, must be able to drive Successfully complete the State of California Department of Social Services Home Care Aid Registry requirements, DMV check and drug screen
