Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description
Cascade Park Communities, is seeking On-Call, Part Time and Full Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to contribute significantly to our culture and service. The individual selected will need to be reliable, customer service-minded, and take pride in making our residents smile through the delivery of quality care in our assisted living community. Responsibilities may include: Monitor the health and well-being of our residents Diabetic Management, including blood sugar checks and insulin administration Communicate with outside providers (PCP, Home Health, etc.) regarding residents' status Communicate effectively with family members, POA’s and legal guardians Contribute clinical information needed for care conferences and care planning Oversee and monitor care provided by our caregivers and med techs Qualifications and skills: Current LPN license Must have knowledge of: nursing care practices, especially in the context of geriatric care; state Boarding Home regulations pertaining to resident care Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable, team-player, caring and able to foster atmosphere of dignity and respect Requires a positive attitude and high energy level Requires strong communication skills Be detail oriented
