HOMECARE SUPERVISOR OF DIRECT CLIENT SERVICES

A&B Homecare is a reputable Homecare Agency licensed to provide individual care and support services to clients in the comfort of their homes. We have been in operation for over 20 years in King/Pierce County and currently work with elderly clients, clients with disabilities, and homebound individuals. We are looking to add a qualified applicant to join our team of Homecare Supervisors in our Federal Way office. CHARACTERISITICS OF THIS POSITION: The main duty of this position is to provide supervision of care services for client's and to manage their caregivers on a day-to-day basis. This job requires independent decision-making and the ability to communicate effectively. Applicants must be willing to learn about the home care industry and its fast-paced nature. As a supervisor, you will also assist the agency with client intake, documentation, and communicating with Case Managers. This duty must be performed consistently and in compliance with agency policies and procedures. Must have the ability to work closely with clients, clients' families, social workers, and executive management. Basic knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office are required for this position. Ability to speak other languages such as Spanish, Tagalog, Russian/Ukrainian, Chinese, Punjabi, Vietnamese, Amharic, or Tigrinya in addition to English would be an advantage. Applicants must demonstrate good ethical standards and high sense of integrity. JOB QUALIFICATION: (1). AA degree with at least two (2) years of continuous employment. OR (2). High School Diploma, with current C.N.A/HCA certification and up to date Continuing Education training and at least four (4) years of continuous employment in Homecare related business. Successful candidates will be required to complete on-the-job Home Care Supervisor training. COMPENSATION: This position starts out at $25.00 an hour for the first 90 days. After 90 days of employment (probationary period) this position will transition to a salary of $4,750. Other Compensation includes: Quarterly Incentive Bonuses Mileage reimbursement for work related travel. Paid vacation and sick leave after 90 days of employment (Must first accrue vacation and sick hours). Medical and dental insurance after 90 days. Matching fund for 401K after one year of employment.
