The staff here is amazing. Every one I have met is not only professional but loving and caring as well. I can honestly say that I consider each one a new friend and, although I am really looking forward to going home soon, I will miss them. Their professionalism has literally put me back on my feet so much quicker than my husband and I thought possible. 5 Stars for each and every one of them!
I believe this place needs to be shut down for neglect of their patients and wrongful death of my grandmother in December 2018. They dropped her on her head then said she was tootaling down the hall and fell out of her wheelchair trying to get her stuffed animal. They minimized the extent of her injuries (head was pooling with blood and had racoon eyes) yet no other injuries to her body and didn't send her to the ER until 5 days after her fall. They also never called the Dr. That was on call over the christmas holiday and not on the property to explain what happened until days later. Finally, after she sat there for 5 days wimpering, she was rushed to the hospital then died 8 days after her fall in Decber 2018. Shame on them! Do not send your loved ones to the place.
I couldn't be more impressed with this place. My experience has positive in every way. But I really especially love the way my mom and my whole family is treated by staff and the management at the center. They are always kind and helpful and I know my mom is safe. I've always had peace of mind and that is so important to me. Thank you Lafayette!!
After a month stay at our local hospital, Franconia was the only facility that was covid free for my wifes rehab. After 1 week, she wanted to come home because the facility was not properly prepared for her rehab needs. Food was most of the time served cold . Also , she was not informed of a covid case in a separate wing of the facility. Protocols were followed but information was told to her as to why 2 tests were done in 1 day. She found out by myself after I was informed. So far not thoroughly pleased .
The staff is friendly enough..the only complaint I have is, my brother doesn't get shaved and he can't do it himself..I use to set him up to brush his bottom teeth which are his own and I would also shave him...but since this covid virus I can't visit and help him..I wish staff would realize he doesnt like having a beard and a mustache growing down his lips..he is so depressed..
