I'm very happy and pleased with the care my loved one is experiencing. The staff is amazing, from the management, CNA's, nurses, dietary, housekeeping, therapy and other departments. Therapy is very upbeat and always has my loved one smiling and laughing! I like the updates they are doing at the facility. Little by little, things are getting a facelift. I always feel welcomed when I come to visit. The housekeepers are always helpful as well, even the dietary staff! The activities are top notch! I've never seen a facility do so many activities daily! This is great! More facilities need to follow in her footsteps! The business office lady is very helpful and knowledgeable, she's always going the extra mile to ensure my loved one is taken care of. Not to mention, the welcome baskets she provides are very welcoming! One thing I know as an adult, the medical field is a tough one. It's always hard to find good help, help that stays and those whom are compassionate in what they do! You will always find the medical field short staffed, especially with the growing need. However, Arcadia @ Auburn seems to always take great pride in bringing staff in. Oh that scarecrow out front, let me tell you, he makes me laugh every time I come to visit and I truly need that!

It is absolutely appalling that this is how our elderly and Veterans are treated. Filthy conditions, deterioration of walls and struture in rooms, floors so disgusting you literally stick to them, out dated facilities, staff as rude as you can imagine and then some, personal items and effects lost, stolen or just thrown away. This place needs a serious investigation and needs to be SHUT DOWN!!!

This is a place where people are sent to die. Unfortunately, My family member is still in there. There are no other options since December. They are short staffed, surely out of compliance, the agency nurses are nightmares. Their food is sub par, medications run out frequently and there is no foresight to order prior too, and depending if your dealing with an agency nurse, the resident may or may not receive their meds since they are out. They could just pull the meds from their surplus in the pixis, but they generally wait until your meds arrive from the delayed pharmacy. Meds are never when they are scheduled or requested. If a resident has an accident on the floor, it does not get cleaned up properly. Showers are to be taken per the time they come in to get you, if you are sleeping, you miss out on your shower until days later, the next scheduled time. The rooms are in disrepair, paint chipping, shared rooms in a room that is fit for one person, jack and Jill bathroom, so 4 people sharing one bathroom, that does not get cleaned in between or toilet seat wiped after each resident, disgusting. Forget about calling and reaching someone there or receiving a call back from messages you have left. You have to show up, act like a crazy person on your family members account, and use $10 words that most of the staff do not recognize, to finally attract the attention needed to resolve whatever the issue is. Folks if your family member is in here, get them on every waiting list you can except for the company that owns this one. Seems that they are buying a lot of struggling nursing homes right now in our area. Positives I can say, non agency staff are really generally very good and kind. In response to the owner who responded to this original review, I would recommend going under cover as a patient there to truly grasp the immense deficiencies that you have. Only then will you be able to experience what this review really means. And when I say under cover, I mean no one knows who you are. If you are truly trying to provide exceptional care for our seniors, I do not know how that would be accomplished without first hand experience. I pray for due diligence so you can turn your establishment around for current and future residents.

My brother was here recently and what I witnessed and was confirmed by my brother is that this place is terrible. What they feed these poor people is ridiculous apparently there is no cook..the meals are thrown tougher or the feed them a hot dog...and what did they serve on Easter my brother got a bologna sandwich...they are always out of eggs and milk. If you need a nurse you better be ready to wait..my brother said sometimes it would take 30 mins to get some help. If you are looking for somewhere to put your loved one..Keep Looking!!

I recently had the privilege of observing the care provided by Arcadia Care in Auburn, IL, where Bonnie spent the last seven months of her life under hospice care. The level of care and compassion shown by the staff was truly remarkable. They went above and beyond to ensure Bonnie's comfort and dignity, providing not just medical support but also emotional warmth and genuine kindness. Although the facilities could use some updates, this did not diminish the exceptional quality of care Bonnie received. The staff's dedication and personal attention made a significant difference, creating a supportive environment that far outweighed any physical shortcomings. The team at Arcadia Care demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to their patients, and their care was truly outstanding.
