Wonderful staff! You couldn’t ask for nicer people. Physical and occupational therapists were first-rate. And the food….oh my, was very good. I got addicted to their chef salad. The room I was in had recently been redecorated and was lovely. We chose Bedford Springs because it was two miles from our house but we couldn’t have made a better decision. I would definitely chose to go there again. Although I hope I won’t need to any time soon.

My family member was there for about 2 months after having a stroke. The nurses and the nursing aides were very good and nice there. I don't generally do reviews, but it meant a lot to us that he was so well cared for at Bedford Springs. I would definitely recommend them if you need rehab or long term care for your loved one. Thank you to all the staff for everything they did for our family.

My mother was a resident here for over 2 years. The staff here are extremely warm, loving and committed to caring for those who cannot help themselves. Of all the places Mom lived while needing this level of care, this was by far the best experience for her and us. My only regret is that we didn't get her to Bedford Springs sooner.

I was recently there after a fall resulting in a fracture. I was refused my medication, so I decided to go home which resulted in being yelled at and called trashy by the lady that was in charge. I tried to remain calm during the uncalled for interaction. I do believe that had not been for my son being there that she would’ve hit me. I’m not sure what causes someone to behave that way, but my biggest worry is for the residence who cannot defend themselves. I did receive a call and an apology from the nursing home however, it does not excuse the verbal abuse nor the conditions of the nursing home. The baseboards appeared to have body fluids on them and the smell upon coming in the nursing home was so bad that it was nauseating. I have a hard time, believing having had been there recently, any of the five star reviews.

Nicole Thomason's profile photo

Absolutely unacceptable the way this place treated my mother last night. Yesterday my mother was admitted here, and was ONLY there for three hours before the verbal and almost physical abuse started. she had broken her leg a couple days ago and she is now in a wheelchair chair. she has already been having trouble walking anyway with her condition. Last night it had been a few hours and my mom needed her pain medication but continued to not receive it. time kept passing and finally my mom decided to leave because of the pain. My brother picked her up around midnight to take her home so that she was able to just manage her medicine on her own. One of the staff members, a woman, began yelling and screaming at my mom and my brother for trying to leave. She called my mother “trash,” and said “the trash is leaving.” she also indirectly told my brother she would hit my mother in the face. This same woman told my mom they did not have her medicine, but then all of a sudden had it when my mom was walking out the door. another woman was sitting there the entire time this was happening and did absolutely nothing. my mom filed a formal complaint and will more than likely be pressing charges and calling the state. That kind of abuse is ABSERD and completely UNACCEPTABLE.
