I have nothing but a high praise for The Estates at Bloomington. Being a caregiver is a super tough job. Both my mother and I have been caretakers. Ash is the head nursing director. She knows what she's doing and does it well. Brittany is a CPN, and she is wonderful. I forget another lady's name. She is a nurse or nurses aid of Mexican descent. She's also amazing. The cleaning crew is fast and sanitized. They really care for their patients. The nursing staff are top-notch! The residents who live their are always watching out for each other. They have a beautiful garden in the back! I feel blessed that my husband is at this facility.

The facility is very old. The staff seems to do their best with what they have. Their management does not provide them with the investment they need to succeed. The wing my dad was in had small rooms with 2 to a room and 2 rooms shared a bathroom. My guess is it was built on the 60s with last remodel in the 70s. I would avoid this place if possible.
