I recently spent two weeks at Greenbriar Nursing Home for rehab, and I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and care during my stay. From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel welcome and supported. The dining experience was wonderful—the meals were delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy. The rehab department was outstanding. Their skill, encouragement, and dedication helped me recover and get back home stronger than ever. I’ve been to several rehab facilities in the past, and I can honestly say this has been the best experience by far. Thank you to the entire Greenbriar team for your compassion, professionalism, and commitment to your residents. You made a difficult time so much easier, and I’m truly grateful.

This place absolutely broke my heart. No one ever wants to put a loved one in a nursing home, but sometimes it’s necessary and when we chose this facility, we hoped they’d be cared for with dignity, respect, and basic human decency. That didn’t happen here. The conditions were terrible. The building was filthy, and it constantly smelled like no one had cleaned in days. What’s worse, the residents, many of whom are vulnerable and can’t speak up for themselves who were clearly neglected. I witnessed people being ignored, left sitting in soiled clothes, and calling out for help that never came. Multiple times had someone been on the floor screaming with no staff to be found. Even more disturbing, medications weren’t properly monitored. There were cases of overdoses that could have been prevented with the right care. It honestly felt like no one was paying attention. The staff seemed undertrained just indifferent. And management? Completely unreachable when it mattered most. Watching this happen to people who should be safe and cared for was devastating. If you’re considering this place for someone you love, please look elsewhere. No one deserves to live like this and no family should have to carry the guilt of placing someone in an environment like this.

My husband asked for help with his dressing and the nurse said he would in a minute. He continued to pass his medications. My husband ended up bleeding out and went into cardiac arrest. As a nurse I know this shouldn’t have happened. I’m angry with how they have just said sorry for your loss………And now I’m being told they are using his death as a teaching lesson. I work for the company. I literally had to go thru a shift taking care of my people after being told by a coworker about this………but yet they did no wrong. I would never be able to lay my head on a pillow knowing I did wrong to anyone I took care of. I regret trusting to send my husband here and it costed him his life.

If you hate your loved one and wish to punish them, then this is the place! Received my father back home in a worse condition than when he went it. If you actually love the person that you are trying to put in here, FIND A DIFFERENT FACILITY!

If I could this facility a zero, I would. I had my loved one at the facility briefly for skilled nursing . While the facility itself, is clean and equipped with update rehabilitation equipment; the staff and level of care is simply horrific. I would walk past rooms and see residents half way off of their beds about to fall. Staff is understaffed with nurses telling me a ratio of 24:1 on a good day, assistants were rude and highly unprofessional. When asking an assistant a question her response was " Don't ask me, I am just here to wipe butts". The meal situation was even worse. They do not give patients water jugs, like in the hospital or other facilities. I am grateful we provided water for our loves one. Additionally, when asked to follow through on care plans, staff ignored directives by families and ruled over patients using intimidation. The staff allow patients to sit in their urine or bowel movements until they feel like getting to them. My loved one felt scared to be there,so I listened and got them out as quickly as possible. We have contacted the state about this facility. Please do your research when looking at a facility.
